Quiksilver team have sorted their diary

As the snow is here and our first camps are but weeks away, everybody is getting thier plans for winter sorted. This includes the Quiksilver snow team and we can confirm that we will at least be joined in Dec by the talents that are James Stentiford, Jamie Nicholls and Ollie Jackson and for January can add Henry Shackelton to the list.

Super stoked to have them coming and great opportunity to meet and get advice from some true legends.

The mountains are alive with the sound of Tammy

Yesterday Tammy and few others took a little (few hours) walk to the Col de Coux. This at the head of the valley de la Manche, or just out the back of Avoriaz. Either way it is a pretty good indication of what the conditions are like on the mid slopes around Avoriaz and Fornet. I'll let the pictures speak thier thousnad words, but like to add its looking pretty good.

Ahh home sweet Morzine

We survived! The big city, the ski show, London Freeze and the journey home, but all soo good.
We hijacked the Quiksilver stand at the ski show (they did let us honest) and invited our dudes down to represent

and hand out flyers. Cosmic, this super nice artist from Cornwall was in town (to be on Blue Peter, believe it or not) and found time to add the final touches to what seemed like our home for 5 days. Great opportunity to spread the word and catch up with a lot of friends and we are already seeing the word come back with loads of new people signing up for the camps.
The following weekend was The London Freeze, not sure whether it was a snowboard event with music or the other way round, but saw some great riding, heard some good bands (none of whom I'd heard of before) and handed out loads of flyers. Oh and maybe drunk quite a lot of cider. Was really great to see an event on in battersea again.

Whilst Tammy jetted off to Saas Fee, for the women in board sports retreat (www.womeninboardsports.blogspot.com) me and Emma had a quick visit to the isle of white and Thomas world, before the long drive home. How nice is it to come home to winter proper, a town covered in an icing of snow and a need to dig out the down jacket and winter woolies.

Tammy's off to Col de Coux today to see how the snow is lying up top, so be sure to let you know later.
